Partnering to improve infrastructure
Two partnerships will provide more understanding and support in planning and managing Canada's infrastructure. The National Roundtable on Sustainable Infrastructure and the National Research Council are collaborating in the development of a framework to assess the state, performance and management of Canada's core public infrastructure (roads, bridges, transit, and water and wastewater systems). An agreement with the Canadian Standards Association will generate a variety of working tools for infrastructure planners and managers.
